PLUS: What 81,000 people want from AI

Happy Monday! It’s the last week of March.

I just got back from speaking at one of my favorite conferences of the year, the Executive Leadership Council, where I gave a State of the Union on AI. Every time I do one of these, it hits me again just how fast everything is moving. What felt new a few months ago is already becoming the baseline.

This week was packed with AI news, and I pulled together some of the best stories for you. One link I especially recommend checking out breaks down how AI is expected to impact jobs across different sectors. It is interactive and worth playing around with.

If you are looking to close out March strong and get closer to your goals, I also included a prompt below to help you reset and refocus. It is a simple way to step back, identify what is working, and make smarter moves going into April.

Give it a try. And if the prompt is helpful, reply back to this email and let me know. I always love hearing how people are using these prompts in the real world.

PROMPT: You are a strategic advisor, execution coach, and accountability partner.

Based on everything you know about me from this conversation—my goals, priorities, work habits, and patterns—analyze my current trajectory.

It is the last week of the month. Assume I’ve made some progress, but there are likely important things I’ve delayed, avoided, or deprioritized.

  1. What are the 3–5 highest-impact actions I should take this week to get meaningfully closer to my monthly and yearly goals?

  2. What are 2–3 things I’ve likely been putting off that are important—and why might I be avoiding them?

  3. For each recommendation:

    • Explain why it matters right now (this week specifically)

    • Describe the downside of continuing to delay it

    • Give a clear, simple action I can take in the next 48 hours

  4. How should I prioritize my time this week if I want to maximize progress (not just stay busy)?

  5. What does a “great week” look like for me if I execute well?

Be honest, direct, and practical. Avoid generic advice. Focus on high-leverage actions, real tradeoffs, and patterns in how I operate.

Structure the response clearly with prioritized recommendations and specific next steps.
