After a few wild weeks in AI, things felt a little slower this week. But don’t get too comfortable. The next big storyline is just getting started. The Elon Musk vs. OpenAI and Sam Altman trial is officially underway, and it will be very interesting to see how this plays out.

For this week’s tool to try, I want everyone to spend some time with OpenAI’s latest Codex update. If you’ve been enjoying Claude Co-work, this is one you should definitely check out. The competition between these tools is heating up fast, and it’s worth seeing how they compare.

And as we head into a new month, I included a prompt below to help you maximize May. It’s a simple way to get focused, build momentum, and make real progress on what matters most.
